The IMEI is now taking the initiative to provide this modern tool to the marine engineers for preparing for their examinations for their Certificate of Competency,(COC). IMEI has chosen, Teledata Marine Solutions as its partner for development of its e-learning programs.

MEO Class IV (Motor)
MEO Class IV(M) is a preparatory program for Marine Engineering Officer Class IV Certificate of Competency (Motor) Examination conducted by the Directorate General of Shipping, (DGS), Govt. of India. This program is structured to suit the curriculum of the CoC Class 4 (M), encompassing the Director General of Shipping (DGS) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements. The program is designed and developed by experienced world-class maritime educators and other professionals and validated by various industry experts from the IMEI.
The program is divided into Functions with each Function being further divided into courses. Each course has specific learning objectives that help the student to learn step-by-step from these “knowledge nuggets” in a well-paced and structured manner. Each of these courses is developed with rich animations to help the learner to understand concepts easily. The courses are loaded with interesting interactive elements to involve the learner into a rich learning activity. The learner is continually assessed and monitored at all stages of progress and finally well-prepared through practice tests in taking the final exams at the Director General of Shipping.
